Organic seed potato tubers are often infested with sclerotia of Rhizoctonia solani potentiallyresulting in delayed emergence, tuber deformation and dry core symptom. It is intended to control the disease by a combined strategy of tuber disinfection using hydrogene peroxide and subsequent tuber strengthening using the antagonistic fungi Trichoderma harzianum. Field experiments are conducted since 2006. |
